We have a very urgent need for mentors. If you know of someone who would genuinely be interested in becoming a Big, please have them contact us. YMCA CARDS
Membership cards are still available for matches to use. Now you will no longer need to check out the YMCA card, you can be issued a card to use anytime. This new policy has already gone into effect. Matches can contact their casemanagers to request a new pass. Littles will be issued their own "United Way Agency Client card" for them to use when going to the YMCA with their Big Brother or Big Sister. Bigs will need to present their BBBS membership card for admittance with their little. The YMCA cards are valid at any Des Moines, Ankeny and Waukee location. To request your card or for more information, please contact your case manager.
